Thomas De’Andrea Johnson (Gamble) was born October 27, 1993, in Jackson MS and was soon uprooted to the small town of Walnut Grove, MS. Gamble was raised in a two-parent home, the second of three children and always showed an interest in music. Whether it be dance or singing in the church choir, he always found ways to get involved.
At the age of 18, Gamble graduated high school and left for Mississippi State University, where he studied for a semester and a half before he was charged with three counts of auto burglary. He was sentenced to 15 years at the Oktibbeha county jail (10 years suspended and 5 on papers). During that time, Gamble used music to help him regain control of his life and get through the hard times.
