At eighteen Roc Wash through friends Dirt Dig and Huck, was introduced to rapper Kamikaze and soon became a part of his street team. After being exposed to the hustle of the music industry, Wash hungered for more and joined Misguided Records to jumpstart his career. While at the label, Wash recorded his first song “The Pain is Deep”. After a year, Wash departed from the label to creatively expand and connected with producer, engineer and, longtime friend T Wells. From there his passion for music grew and, Wash artistically flourished as he tried his hand at songwriting and engineering. In 2004 Wash created his first mixtape, The Preview. Two years later, Wash went on to form the label GSNT with friends Orlando and LA, where they released the collaborative project, Long Time Coming Volume 1.
After years of working for several record labels, motivated by the passing of his mother, Wash independently founded the up and coming Global Millionaires Connection Records (GMCR). In the last two years, the group has steadily grown boasting an impressive roster of some of Mississippi’s premier local talent like Profit, Gamble, Jackpot, Paso and Ivory G.
Ever evolving, in February 2016 Wash debuted his apparel line, The GMCR Collection. By that autumn, Wash collaborated with long-time friend Brandon Ficklin to launch BeveranVodkaxGMCR, a specialty t-shirt designed to showcase the company’s mission of inspiring creatives to reach their dreams.
Roc Wash is dedicated to growing the brand Global Millionaires Connection Records and making it one of the most influential forces within the music industry.
