Treshun Alexander, known by his stage name MLE PROFIT, is a 22 year old up and coming rapper from Forest, Mississippi. He was born September 11, 1999 in Flowood, Mississippi.
Since childhood, Treshun has always had a passion for music. He considers music to be therapeutic. Growing up listening to the blues with his mother and grandmother was a big influence to his music today. Combining the music he heard back then to what he enjoyed listening to when he was older has made him a very versatile artist. His lyrics are expressions of his life experiences and the things he saw others experience on the streets where he grew up. He is very passionate about music and helping his people. He uses his lyrics as a voice for the people because he believes God has blessed him with a voice not only to entertain but as well as a voice for his people. He was raised to always stand for something or you will fall for anything. He has followed this path even until this day.
Artists such as Rick Ross, Kanye West, Boosie, and Young Dolph have been very influential in his aspiring to become a rapper. Not only for their talent but for artist like Young Dolph, who started with nothing and worked hard to obtain a strong career as a rapper. He admires how Young Dolph worked hard, supported his team and gave back to his community. It gave him the drive to work hard for what he wants as well. At a young age Treshun began reciting lyrics and it wasn’t until the age of 11 that he actually took it to another level and created a recording at age 14. At that point, he felt he had ran out of options in the music industry. At age 16, he began writing lyrics. His passion became even stronger. He knew that he was destined to be in the music industry because he wasn’t letting anything get in his way.
It was when Roc Wash became his mentor, manager and CEO that his career began to move to the next level. He showed him all the steps he needed to take to become successful in the industry. He is like family to him. He shows him how to be a man and manage his life.
Treshun will be releasing his first album soon entitled Son of a Don. The album is special and unique because it is in remembrance of his father who passed away. The first single was released in February 2022 entitled “Constantly”. The single is already showing signs of success. This motivates Treshun to continue pushing toward his goals to become a successful rapper. He is obtaining fans that he didn’t even know existed. He is looking forward to greater things in the future. When asked how he sees his future, he once stated: “I never wanted to pack out a club, I want to sell out an arena”.
